The Wild Bohemians to headline Roots & Blues festival on July27

The Kennett Area Park Authority (KAPA) will present an inaugural Roots & Blues Festival on July 27 beginning at 11 a.m. at Anson B. Nixon Park in Kennett Square.
The festival – which will serve as a fundraiser for the park -- will be highlighted by a performance by the Wild Bohemians, a Philadelphia-based Mardi Gras band who has played extensively throughout the area and at musical festivals for the past 30 years. Other artists who are scheduled to perform include Jeffery Broussard & the Creole Cowboys, Deb Callahan, Slim & the Perkolators, The Two Johns, Dibbs & the Detonators, Old Refuge, Swing that Cat, Street Beans, and Steve Guyger & the Excellos. This inaugural event will also include food trucks, adult beverages, and local artisans.
