In this workshop, students will learn various drawing and shading techniques for creating proportional portraits in graphite. In addition to practicing technical skills, students will learn about the techniques of influential portrait artists. Each student will leave the workshop with either a finished or developed black and white portrait of a loved one. Students of all levels, beginner to advanced, are welcome. This workshop is presented in conjunction with INTO LIGHT Delaware, an exhibition that contains original portraits of Delawareans who have died from the disease of drug addiction.
