Our Tween/Teen Art night is perfect for kids ages 10+. No experience is necessary, but yet those with more experience in art are encouraged to move forward and experiment and are given the freedom to grow. This is a fun, laid-back "art experience" that brings kids together and allows them to play with ART! On Tuesday, 2/18, we will be learning about etching and using scratch boards to create impressive, high quality images that are both graphic and fun. By controlling the depth of their cut/scratch, the students control how light their image will get. The harder they press, the lighter their image line. This process is helped along by transferring an image using a chalky white transfer material beforehand.
